Ice Cream Research
One of the hottest research topics here at Pole is ice cream technology. Here are some experiments on new flavors. I think this one is Vanitro.

The Growth Chamber in Action
Now that winter is here, we've fired up the growth chamber to grow things like this strawberry donut. The record for the growth chamber is 160 pounds a week. Thats a lot of donuts. I hear they're mostly water.

The last plane has left! Winter has started!
The last 121 summer visitors left on the last plane out. It was a tight squeeze.

Volunteering at the Day Care center today
One great thing about working at the South Pole is you get many roles. Firefighter, photographer, journalist, store clerk, greenhouse planter, sushi chef, and sometimes babysitter at the Day Care Center.

Weekly Evacuation
This week it was because of a virus outbreak. Decontamination teams are zapping the alien virus now.
